I'm showing some of my frames at this location. Also if anyone's interested, here are some detailed notes I made while going through Amos' example MVC/OOP social network site.
One of my main goals was to build a site using object-oriented PHP and MVC. Having never used either of these before, I had a lot of catching up to do before I even started building it.

class 9 | in-class assignment
class 9 | in-class assignment: added commenting to PHP/MySQL blog
Just added a commenting feature to last week's assignment. You can't use apostrophes, though.
Just added a commenting feature to last week's assignment. You can't use apostrophes, though.
UPDATE, May 4: fixed an error that prevented the commenting from actually working. I had a missing 'echo' where it should've been ?php echo. Now, it works and the id of each post is passed to the comment form and the comment table.

class 7 | homework: PHP image-uploading service
Features:
-registration, login, main index, and upload image pages, with processing pages for login, register, and upload pages
-if a non-registered user requests index or upload page, the user is auto re-directed to login page and a friendly log in message is displayed
-if a user enters a blank username or password while registering or logging in, or enters an incorrect username/password combination on the login page, then the user is redirected back to the same page with an appropriate user-friendly error message
-if user successfully uploads an image file, a success message appears on the index after auto re-direct
-the main page displays up to 50 images, with caption, and author
Future features:
-terminating cookies, is it just setcookie ("logged_in", "", time()-3600);? didn't get around to experimenting
-reading the images.txt from the bottom to display most recent at top (or another way to display the latest uploads at the top of index page)
